I haven't really ready most the mini series that lead to Infinity Crisis, except Villains Unitedand the The OMAC Project. Identity Crisis was so much better then Infinity Crisis. Me and my friend was discussing who was the murderer, and we actually suggested the Atom. Runaway is another awesome series. Too bad they didn't participate much in the Civil War.

Speaking of comics branching out from superheroes... I really enjoyed Y: The Last Man, which just wrapped up this past January. And you can buy them in paperback collections too.

You need to check out Batman & Robin - The Boy Wonder, Frank Miller and Jim Lee are working on the title. Frank's interpretation of the meeting up of Batman and Robin is really good. Also look into, The Ultimates from Marvel and the current storyline of the Red Hulk.

I find both Marvel and DC to be a bit disappointing of late. I'm only ready anything Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps for DC.

Stormwatch and Wild C.A.T.S. were pretty slick too.
Manga series from Dark horse...some of my favorites are...
Gunsmith Cats - Kenichi Sonoda - Rally Vincent ahhhhh and Ghost in the Shell - Masamune Shirow - Major Motoko Kusanagi more ....The Punisher from Marvel was good in the old days not sure about now...

There's a Red Hulk now? The only ones I knew were Savage/Green Hulk and Grey Hulk... I was never really a fan

I just finished Superman Batman Public Enemies. good stuff by Jeph loeb.

Powers (Image) is really good too. I'm on v.3. art reminds of me of Batman animated series/Frank Miller's sin city style.
