I am in the market for a new flight control package. My Saitek X-52 died on me recently and while it was a good flight system package I want a better one this time. Do you guys have any good recommendations? Price is not a huge issue but don't go nuts! haha!

For whast type of sim flying are you doing? Dogfights or crusing? If dogfighting, if you can find one, a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS or get a Saitek X52 Pro. If cruising around by VFR (or IFR if that is your bag), Saitek has a great yoke and throttle quadrant package (and you can even add intruments and other parts like a radio and light panel) for $150 if I remember right (I love it for the PMDG 737NG as well as other GA type AC in FS).
Apparently the Cougar has some issues with reliability so I'd look into those first.
The X52 Pro is nice. It has all the features I want, but unfortunately Saitek isn't the best brand for quality. Still, so far I've had good luck with mine.
CH Products make some good high quality stuff if you don't mind the outdated look of it. =)
Whiteknight77 its going to be for dogfights mostly but even if I am going to be playing a civie flight sim I still would like a HOTAS based control system since I find it more easier to work with. The Cougar sounds good but according to Calista, it has reliability issues
Saitek Pro sounds good. I already used one good system from them.
Calista I like logitech's products. That are usually reliable and are so ergonomically good. I will see what else Logitech offers before considering the X-52 pro. My Saitek system was really good haha!
$380 CDN = $340 USD. That's definately nuts haha! I could order a PS3 package with that amount. The throttle control looks a bit too clunky and so not logitech style haha! but the pedals and the stick look just right.
I just looked it up and you are right Calistah. It looked wierd to me since there are usually four knobs on a civilian twin engined aircraft throttle control system. Wow my husband's long discussions on aircraft control systems actually paid off haha!
