Why did you post this here? It hasn't got anything to do with Beyond Good & Evil or any other Ubisoft game, there are other websites dedicated to solving problems like this.
Anyway, I'll give you some advice: I have about 20 processes running in task manager including firewall and antivirus software, so 65 is indeed way too much. Most likely there are a ton of programs running in the background. You can prevent those from starting by using msconfig: Start > Run... > Type "msconfig" and enter > click the Startup tab. There you'll see all the programs that will start when you boot Windows. Most of the time you can disable all of them and still boot up normally (although there are exceptions). For example I have only two processes listed there, which are from my antivirus and firewall software. It's up to you to find out which processes are needed and which aren't, search the Internet for information on them. And by the way, registry cleaners don't make any difference. Unless you have a good reason to use them (like invalid registry keys that prevent you from reinstalling certain software), there's really no reason to use them. From what I can find the device you mentioned seems to be a Texas Instruments Integrated FlashMedia Controller, you should be able to get drivers from your PC manufacturer's website. |
