I've bought a new computer, and wonted to play BG&E again. But there was a slight problem. The game is running to fast, in the in-game videos, the video runs faster then the sound (it was the opposite on my old computer), and when you play, Jade runs away like a rocket, it's nearly impossible the steer her. Is there a way slow her down…?

My Computer:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 3800+
nVidia GeForece 7800 GT
2 GB RAM
Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2

There's a good chance it won't solve the problem entirely, but I'm afraid I don't have time to elaborate on that now. If the fix doesn't work, I'll be sure to provide additional information tomorrow.

I can't install that hot fix because it's doesn't work with the language (Swedish) I have on my Windows-version.

Unfortunately it appears the hotfix isn't available in Swedish. I guess that means you'll have to manually set the "bge.exe" process to a single core in Task Manager every time you start the game (start game > alt-tab to desktop > right-click process > set to single core). Also, you should disable "Cool & Quiet" in your BIOS settings.
