Just like in the post some time ago my hercules radeon 7500 with updated drivers displays things like: ''eeeeeeeeeeee01eeeeeeee00'' instead of the game text (not all, the main menu works fine) I've got directx 9.0c. And I do have the solution, simply turn off HW vertex processing, but! if I do this I have to run the game at the lowest graphics configuration as possible and even then I get an awful frame-rate and the dialogue almost never runs the way it should in the in between movie parts.... which is terribly ennoying because the game's beatiful with hw vertex processing on. The strange thing is is that the game has worked fine with this card tho that was when this card was in my AMD athlon 2000xp, 512MB memory (with hw vertex processing) and now its in an P3 @ 1000 mhz with 320MB. Though I dont see how that could be the problem... can anyone please help me I'm dying to play the game the short parts I played of it we're great and I've been busy for 4 days with this now... thanks, p.s windows update wont do anything good either

I'm not sure what could be causing this, I can only suggest you try to use older drivers.

He had the solution guys! At least for me... I knew it used to work but I couldnt figure it out :P we need more ppl who think logical like that :P he said: ''try and use older drivers'' which seemed hopeless,but the text works fine! with hw vertex processing turned on! (incase u guys didnt know if u turn it off it'll run 2, tho quite slow on the slower computers) anyway Ati doesnt give older drivers or I havent been able to find them so I looked at the site of my uh yeah dunno what the name is anyway I've got hercules so thats http://www.hercules.com and just downloaded the oldest 3d prophet driver there is which is around the end of 2003 the graphics are somewhat less and I've got problems with my monitor configuration but just use the same resolution as u use on ur desktop and things'll run fine hope this post could save some other radeon 7500 ppl! THERE HAS TO BE A BGE2 THERE HAS TO!!
