Oh, and I forgot to say that I have tried updating my display drivers, I installed the newest ones: 56.72 and the game wouldn't even start up.

I tried older ones:45.33, and the crash in the hanger still occurs.

And the current one I am using is straight from the windows update site, so it can't be my display driver's causing the problem???

I would really appreciate some help, as I'm going crazy here!!!

I'm a bit scared about doing that, I don't want to muck up my whole system!

Every single other game I possess works fine you see!
It cannot be that causing the problem? Surely I would have problems with other games and software if that was the case??

Well, I just had a look at the site, and I'm not even sure where to start!!! (All this to play a game......!)

It's perfectly safe to upgrade your Motherboard drivers

Well, you won't believe this, but I just tried reinstalling the patch, after a clean install of the game (third time). After updating my via drivers and so on and so on....

IT WORKED!! I'm finally past the hanger, and was very relieved to see a save point at the garage!!!
