I can only play Beyond Good & Evil for about 30 minutes, then the computer reboots and shows an error message after I've logged in.

Go to www.intel.com and get the latest drivers for your motherboard. Reinstall your video card drivers after you install the motherboard drivers again.

i should be a mod! sounds real easy - whenever someone has a problem you just say "you need to up date your motherboard drives and graphic drives at www.----.com and www.-----.com" then after they do that and they still have problems (which of course they do. always) you ignore their posts and post the same stuff all over again for new people to read.
all you do is waste people's time with your crap advice. go re-install the drivers, download these, and try again. same advice for every problem.

I had the same problem on my computer, but i've extended the life of my gametime considerably. Just go into the game's Config.exe and look in the advanced Video options menu, just disable Triple Buffering and disable anything that says "mipmap", including the checkbox on the main tab.
This does not detract (in my opinion) from the game's look and feel and it makes my gametime run a LOT longer without crashing.
Now if i could only figure out how to get out of the HANGER without the game crashing.Yes, i've got everything updated, the patch installed. It doesn't help.
