I agree, I don't know anything about that board, it's probably cheap. If you bought your system already assmebled, then that's how you got it pretty cheap. It will support that ram, but I would suggest an Asus board. The Asus A7V600 is an awsome board. I've built multiple systems with it, and their price has dropped tremendously.
