Looks like a nice game, if it was bug-free.
Im glad I bought this game for a budget price, it freezes randomly every 10 to 20 minutes. Often requiring a hard reboot for my poor computer. I'm guessing if they havent come up with a patch for that after 3 years ... it was a waist of money.

That's odd... try updating your graphics drivers though anyways and see if it helps.

I've got the same or a similar problem and I've also got the same graphics card (GeForce Ti 4200).

Actually, I've had two problems, of one the first has been solved, but the second hasn't:

1- The computer crashes, needing reboot, due to an incompatibility of the graphics card and my VIA chipset. Solution at http://twoday.tuwien.ac.at/fcs/stories/17636/. (Note that a graphics card driver update also reinstalls a faulty AGP driver.)

2- The game periodically (every 20-30 minutes or so) freezes in mid-game for about 10-60 seconds. In the meantime, the background sound goes on playing alright, just graphics and control are frozen. Then, suddenly, the game continues. This is especially annoying, when in a race or a fight. I believe it's more frequent when there's water involved, but this may just be imagination. And I haven't yet found a solution to this problem.
