Please somebody help me! I finally got this game which I have wanted to play for a long time, but...

I have a 16:10 aspect ratio widescreen monitor - whatever resolution I choose the display is squashed!! It must be a simple thing but I can't discover how to solve this problem! Where do I make the setting for the correct aspect ratio?!

Basically you are out of luck. Despite the fact that the game is letterboxed on 4:3 monitors, when you play it on an actual widescreen display it stretches/squishes the picture.

Wow! really Ubisoft never cared to fix that? surely it's a simple thing for them to do?

well I have an old monitor which has 5:4 ratio so I can use that for playing the game but it's a shame to have to do this
