[Wasn't sure which section to post this in but I figured it's mostly a technical query so I went for the tech help forum]

I noticed recently that BG&E appeared in the That's Hot budget range and I was wondering if anybody had purchased one of these copies. The reason I ask is because I was wondering what version this release is - is it patched or original? does it use the same fatally buggy copy protection? - basically is this a rereleased version that 'works' or is it just one of the cheap cash-in releases that uses the original bug-riddled version like some rerelease ranges are guilty of?

I don't know for certain but I doubt they would change the copy protection. Most of the bugs were caused by the protection so if that's still the same the bugs will still be there.

It's exactly the same game in a new package. I doubt that Ubisoft would put any effort into such a low-seller, witch they obviously doesn't with all the bugs in the game. The game works fine on console, but it seems that the developers did a really bad job when porting it to PC. Let's prey that IF they decide to make a sequel, they also update the original.
