Hello ...
I've just bought BGE which seams to be a great game BUT ... But i can't play it, each time i launch the game (in 1024*768, hires, except anti-aliasing and W-sync) it causes a Windows crash with this message on the BSOD : BAD_POOL_HEADER. In fact, the game crashes after 10/15 minutes playing, and i can assure it's not the settings, because during this period, it runs perfectly. My computer is this : MSI KT6-Delta integrated Sound+lan AMD Athlon 2600+ 1024Ram GeForce 5600 256Mo Please help me to run BGE correctly |

Post your dxdiag (Start > Run... > Type "dxdiag" and enter > Save all information... > copy/paste the contents of the .txt file here).

Hey sorry about your problem you simply must play this game, Your problem sounds like a bad install or drivers are too old or aren't supported. Update windows with automatic downloads then update everything required. You can get all the required updates at the official Graphics card site, cpu site and motherboard site when they are all updated go to Microsoft.com and get the newest direct x. After doing so, make sure your system temps are all okay and return everything to their normal clock speed should they be overclocked. Should the problems continue Open run (Start>run) then type 'DXDIAG' and then wait for it to work then click 'save' open the .txt file it saved too and paste its contents here. |
