Hi Everyone, ok ill try and make this make as much sense as I can.
I got the game a few days ago and ran it under windows ME and it worked no problem what so ever. However today I upgraded(?) to XP and after an argument witht eh PC to get it to install (I had the 'wrong disk' error a few times) I finally got it working. Now though when I start it up I get some real graphics problems. The graphics keep breaking into polygons and everything gets a red overlay. Im running XP as I said before, and im using a GeForce 5200fx (yeah I know its a **** card but it worked fine yesterday with this game, and with every other game I have) heres my diag

Oh and all of my drivers are up to date, and ive applied the official patch, the problems were the same before i updated anything though

You have a SIS chipset on your motherboard which you should install the drivers for.

I believe they came with the board

If you have already done that, update your GFX drivers to 56.72

For the rest I am not sure - the rest of your system seems fine.

Hi bitebug, thanks for your help so far, ok tried the drivers, and no change. on closer inspection what seems to be happening is for some reason the graphics seem to be seperating into red green and blue, and fracturing, ive tried a fresh install, and have now found a fool proof way arround the cd error problem in xp but no joy in fixing the graphics, thanks in advance for any more help your willing to give, heres my fresh DX

Did you update to Win XP or did you install it freash by formatting your hard drive? "Updating" it causes problems, you need to freash install it. The 53.03 drivers are the best for your card.

Thanks for the help, I tried the patch, and the install is a fresh from format, in the end I gave up and partitioned my HD and im running it fine through WinME now
