Letters like h's or b's appear in front of almost all the text making them nearly unreadable. Could i have a little help.

It's very annoying, appears on my IBM ThinkPad laptop too.

yeah me too! IBM thinkpad T42. sucks

I also have the same problem for T30. I upgraded my Readeon 7500 with the newest driver, but hasn't changed anything.
Do you have any solution for this letter problem?

I don't know why this problem is occurring on IBM Thinkpads, but you can always post your dxdiag here. Perhaps that contains some more information.

Just fixed the problem on my T41.

I went to BG&E Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Compatibility -> Manual Compatibility Settings -> HW Vertex Processing.

I unchecked HW Vertex Processing and now it works great!

Now if I could only get my game pad to work better with this game... :P
