This patch still doesn't help us to GET OUT OF THE HANGER.

Yeah, this patch allows you to play on older CPUs but creates "3RR problem"
I had to make my own "patch" for version 1.00 in order to finish the game.
Shame on you, Ubisoft

if you made a patch to fix the crash problems why dont you make it available for others?

That certainly seems a good suggestion, xslave. Please consider making any patches you've written available to the community. It would be appreciated, and it would certainly help out better than crying shame on Ubisoft.

For everyone who plays this wonderful game.

1. DO NOT INSTALL THE PATCH if you can run the game OK without the patch.

Something in the official patch seems to trigger the no-key-drop bug in the slaughterhouse.

I have played the game completely to the end several times and without problems without the patch.
Then I installed the patch to see if there would be any difference. Guess what, there was! It wasn't fun to finally see that key stuck in the ceiling. I'd rather read about it in someone else's postings.


2. If you have always installed the patch, and (still) have bugs, UN+REinstall the game without patching this time, and see if you do better. You might!
(No guarantees about your savegames still working though)


3. If you have problems either way, try Rahly's FIX program first (works for most people) or the savegame editor (works for some more).Both on this page:

4. As a last resort, try the savegames listed at the top of this forum on this page:

You will lose some gameplay from the location of the bug to the point of the nearest save. But that is still better than not being able to play at all. :-)



5. And please, keep sending those emails to Ubisoft to demand a decent patch that makes things work instead of NOT?

I did all you said, with and without patches, but it never worked for me.

Who idiot maid this patch?

And the reason that I used this patch is, that the game speeds up, alloing me a much better gameplay (it is impossible to deafeat the 3 robots without get hurt).

Is there a patch for the patch?
