BASIC CHECKLIST

The game crashes as soon as I launch Beyond Good & Evil, What do I do?

If you haven't already done so please install the Official BG&E V1.01 Patch.

I did that already, but it still crashes.

Have you checked to see whether you have updated your Graphics Card Drivers?

OK, It still crashes but now it does it when I take a photo in the game.

If you have a VIA Chipset on your motherboard, then go to VIAARENA and get the latest Via 4in1 Chipset Drivers.

If you have done the above, and you still have problems - please post your DXDiag.txt.

To obtain your DXDiag.txt:-
Click Start, click Run, and then type in dxdiag

A dialog should appear; This is your DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

At the bottom of the dialog you will see a Save All Information button.
Click that to save the information to your Hard drive (dxdiag.txt)

Copy and paste the contents of that file along with the problem(s) you're having in a new thread as it will be easier to deal with.

I need a Save File, can you send me one please?

G-2b has kindly made a batch of saves for users who have ran into difficulty, such as the Triangle Key Bug, or disappearing Double HH/Pey'j. Please refer to this thread for more information.

What if nobody can solve my problem?

Then you may need to contact UBISoft's Technical Support Team.

Click on Ask A Question (may need to log in first) then just explain to them what probs your having - Don't forget to include your DXDiag.txt - Screen captures/Save files are a bonus and would be a great asset to them
