My solution to fixing the graphic glitches and sync issues, about 80-100% on my Core 2 Duo, GeForce 8800GTX OC without installing other apps or changes messing up other games.

Part one: The sync issues are brought on by the cores adjusting their clock speed automatically.

1. Control Panel \ Power Options \ Create a power plan
2. High performance, Next, Create
3. Change plan settings
4. Change advanced power settings
5. Hard disk, Turn off after, 300 minutes
6. Process power management, min and max = 100%
7. OK
8. Select your new power plan's bullet.

NOTE: Just change your power plan back when you're done playing.

Part two: Sync issues are also caused by the framerate being faster than the game can accommodate. Graphical glitches are caused by very old methods of texture clamping and LOD calculations.

8. Control Panel \ NVIDIA Control Panel
9. Manage 3D settings
10. Program Settings tab
11. Add Steam\SteamApps\common\beyond good and evil\BGE.exe
12. Anisotropic filter: 4x
13. Antialiasing - Gamma correction: On
14. Antialiasing - Mode: Off
15. Antialiasing - Transparency: Off
16. Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample: On
17. Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Clamp
18. Vertical sync: Force on
19. Close.

NOTE: Settings will automatically kick in when you start BG&E.
