An AMD processor with a frequency of 3200 and only 16 bits, that is queer! ;-)
But what is more important is what OS you are running and if you have the latest Nvidia drivers. You can download them from http://www.nvidia.com/. BTW. sometimes it helps to install old Nvidia drivers... Als make sure you have the latest DirectX drivers. I also bought an N6200 recently and a lot of games tend to crash now. I don't know if it's because of the driver version, Windows 98 (FE) or the videocard. I am considering putting the N6200 in my (backup) Windows 2000 PC and putting it's 5200 card in my Win98 system. I don't know if that will help. Both systems have a 1 Ghz (so about 1300+) AMD Duron and I don't see any image quality difference between the cards. I could also put my old MX440 back. Some of the crashing stopped after I upgraded the Nvidia drivers, but not all of it. |
