Not all of my internet codes work. I've try every possible variation for letters that could be some other letter or symbol. But 7 out of the 15 codes I have don't. I know the codes are case sensitive.
I also have a PS2. The character resolution on my TV is so poor, I have mistaken F for P, never mind the U that looks like a V.
If you post an Internet code that fails along with it's corresponding total time, I could try them myself, to see if there is a possible confusion you may be overlooking. If I get a code to work by trying different characters, we would know it was right if the total times match what the darkroom reports back. It's difficult to troubleshoot with no data.
If you are absolutely sure the codes do not work sometimes, I would suggest just saving again a second or two later to get a different code. If they work about half the time, it shouldn't take long to get one that works.
Maybe certain combinations of time/pearls/animals/etc. fail. If it *is* a bug, it seems like we would hear about it more often. It is *definitely* a source of confusion. HTH
hello sukiangel4, and to others too, i'm a new member. i will be gr8ful if u could plz help me by telling me wht the internet codes really do. i submitted them, and they said they'll give a mission, a SECRET one, but b4 tht i'll have 2 complete their final test, which is to find a password of the IRIS News Admin! they gave the username, and the password is 4 me to find out. once u press a wrong letter, and the whole system resets! i dont think wild guess will ever work right? am i missing sumthin?
Welcome, smukherjee! Check the hint at the end of this FAQ Beyond Good & Evil Darkroom FAQ in the forum next door. It seems to be always game related--the last two I remember getting were ANEMONIA and TIMOREA (animals). I think someone mentioned getting PEYJ.
Just keep trying--when it resets, you make get a short one. Oh, and type slowly--one letter at a time, so you get a response each time. HTH
