Title says it all. The game has worked fine all the way to the end. No graphics problems, everything ran great, then I get to the last boss fight and beat the main bad guy and.... Jade looks upwards, the screen fades white and stays like that.

...forever.

After several minutes of waiting for something dramatic, I found there was no response to ALT+TAB, ALT+F4, or CTRL+ALT+DEL. My computer is not prone to problems so this is weird. The video drivers are the latest and have been for about 2 months now. I had to hard power-down my system just to come back up again.

Anyone have any ideas why the finishing cinema doesn't run? Patches? Bugs? Help?

Never mind. I haven't solved it but after beating the boss one more time I saw the animation for the end of the game, end credits, and the last scene with Pey'j. Unfortunately after returning to the main menu I decided to start a "New Game" and the program froze. Problem still exists, just at a different time.


A Ctrl+Alt+Del showed me that the program had hung and had some kind of memory issue. ( Computer has a 2.4 Ghx processor, 1.5 Gig of RAM and an NVidia 6600 video card. No other processes running but antivirus. )

I got no responses anyhow so it's not like anyone cares but in the event that anyone related to the creation of this game is reading...? This is without a doubt one of the finest games I've ever played and I've been recommending it to all my friends for weeks. One asked me to borrow it from me but I insisted she buy it in a store. It's too good to not assure that it's creators get the payment they've earned.

Are you certain this problem is not happening with other games? Also try to reinstall the game, if the game used to run without any problem I don't see why it would suddenly start to crash.

It's good to hear that you recommended the game to other people. The developers never read the forum here (as far as I know) but you can always leave a post in the "Official Petition for a sequel!" thread on the general forum:
