i tried installing BG&E and it was fuly installed and i tried to open it and i got a message sayin that was having a problem with DirectX 9 either that the computers grophics card wasnt compatible or the game wasnt im not sure

I'm afraid the error message already says it all, your video card doesn't support DirectX 9.0 which is needed to run the game and I don't think any newer drivers exist for the Rage Fury Pro.

The latest driver for Rage Fury Pro can be found here but it was released in 2001 which is older than the driver you have installed now:

I don't think you could ever get it to work with Beyond Good & Evil. The list of supported cards:

Do you know if it's possible to get it to work with a Matrox Millennium P650? I even tried an older driver (that supports DirectX 9) but then it started to complain about too little video memory instead.

I can't say I know anything about that card, from what I can gather it's an 64 Mb AGP card right? In that case perhaps you could try to increase AGP Aperture Size in the bios.
