I'm in cybercafe right now because i don't have internet in my house so i can't download the service pack 1 or 2 from microsoft, and about the via arena hyperion 4 in 1 It's already installed but is still the same problem i need another alternative, i hear so much about this game and i can't play it

I take it this means no one has any ideas? Can someone tell me how I can find the latest driver for soundmax? I'd checked SoundMAX, intel, sony, and some driver webpages but couldn't find out on any of them if they have a driver that goes with my machine(specifications on prior page).

For the record I started playing the game anyway with sound off and subtitles on. When I want I to hear what a character sounds like I can put sound on low and sometimes you can hear the character through the scratch. I also found out in rooms with no music and no speaking the sound actually works with no jet noises. However, I still think this takes away from the game and I'd appreciate any ideas.
