okay, I am having this problem. the game installs and starts smoothly. and all of a sudden at the point where Jade and the pig leave the cave with the boat, it directly goes back to windows. I am using windows 2000 on duron 800 machine with hercules geforce 2mx. i doubt it's a driver issue, but i won't be willing to change my video drivers as certain versions tend to make my system unstable and affect bad games' performance. other games are running just fine with those drivers. driver version is 6.14.10.5216 and I have directx9. so what's the cure?

Did you already try to reinstall the game?

I just did that and it's pretty much the same. as soon as they exit the cave and the Hillys caption is displayed, the game quits without a warning or anything.

Then I'm afraid there's not much you can do except for updating your video card drivers.
