I have a save file for beyond good and evil that is pretty much done (on the moon with all the perls and all the animal pics) and i needed to reformat my hard drive so i just took the .sav file and backed it up not knowing i needed the sally.idx file. Well now i can't play it i tried every stupid trick i could think of like playing up until the first save point then quiting out and writing the file over but none of them work. does anyone know what i can do.

I made the same mistake the first time I backuped the BG&E save files and formatted. The thing I did was that i used some save games on one of the old stickies thread and started near the location I left before I formated with those save games Look at the stickies but I don't know if that thread is still there or if the links are still active.It had happened a lot of time since then
