there is no saved games, u have to beat the mission, then it saves there, u cant save half way threw a mission u get check pionts thats all.
but if u close the game at a check point u have to start at the beginning of the mission.

I'm sorry, I don't explain myself very well sometimes. I know I can't save while playing in the game. I am talking about the actual saved games, like some games may have a path like
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NASCAR Thunder TM 2004 Demo\SAVE
there I can actually copy the saved game folder.
I did find this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Brian\My Documents\Ubisoft\R6Vegas\R6_SaveCHECKPOINT.
Now I am wondering if it is the only save there is?
