hai, i'm thinking about buying this game, so i've tried the demo but it doesn't work:
i installed the demo, start it & get the settings menu, then i click play & my screen turns black for a few secs & then i the game crashes and i'm back to my destkop
i googled and found that there is a patch for the demo so i dl'ed that, but when i run it it says that the demo is already optimised for AMD & that i don't need the patch, when i want to patch anyway, i get some error that the setting are not correct & i need to run settingsapplication again

i have dl'ed the latest graphics drivers for my GF3TI200 (Version: 56.72)

Anyway, which demo version are you trying? There are 2 different versions, and one also has a patch for the older processors. Also, you may want to try backdating your video card drivers, I don't know anything about the ones you have installed.

okay, i've borrowed the ful version now, wish works :-)
nice game but my fps aren't that good (wish is weird cause i run ut2004 at full detail at very good fps)
sometimes my screen starts chaking (up and down), pretty weird

Yeah, the game uses much more power than UT2004 uses...Of course, if you're using a no-cd crack, then that could explain your problems.
