hi there I've had this game for a bit sat on pc cd-rom and it ran a treat on vista..long story short had to get a new pc with 7 pre-instaled.

any idea's on how to get it to run on 7? here are my spcs:

Windows 7 basic,
2.0ghz processer (( tecnay 4 since it's duel core))
512mb ati radon Grathics card (( please don't ask the seris I'm not to sure))
2gb of ram
250gb hard drive


any help is apricitaed as the probelm is accuring dring instalation, get's to the point of instal then crashes.

Can you give a bit more details about the crash?

sure, gets to around 90% then shuts it self down after around a minute or so later shows up with a windows message asking if the program installed correctly, of course it does not and also clears the install data of the laptop...

no idea why it's doing this as I'm running the install under Xp conditions and creating a custom designation instead of the default ((64)) destination it's trying to go to.

Is this a 64 bit or 32 bit Windows 7? If it's 64, was your Vista 64 bit as well?

no the vista was a 32 bit home basic package where as the 7 is the home premium 64 bit.

I'll try installing it again under different ways to see if i will work I.E:
making run as on admin/ xp or a earlier version of windows..if that doesn't work I'll let you know.

It's as I thought, what I think is happening is that, when it's finished installing the actual game, the installer is trying to install the 32 bit copy protection drivers which won't work on Windows 7 64 bit. There's probably no (legal) solution to this problem. Personally I'd look into buying a digital download if that's an option, you can get the game for only € 5 nowadays and it should work on a 64 bit OS. I have the game on Steam but haven't installed it on my Windows 7 64 bit yet, if you want me to verify if it works just let me know.

ff there it works fine apart from the game saying you're grathoics cards are out of date..with no way to fix it..but it's running smooth and playing with ZERO lag
