i like air combat games but sometimes i just want to fly around with out having to kill someone, or the threat of me dying, tell me if you guys agree or not

I got a better Idea...I like your idea but instead of being totaly no boggies on radar...make it where it is on free fly mode but there are very small missions that pops up on radar every no and then and it will be optional if u want to intersect or not...that way it will be a little more realistic and it will bring your free roam to LIFE..what u think?

yeah that a good idea, just fly around and have optional missions, thats great

oooh, optional smoke pods to be mounted on your aircraft for some stunts... plus its fun to mix all the colors on one airplane and have it all combine in a ball behind you that looks like someone made sick...

Netflame wouldn't it be cool if we'd make smoke formations and take it on video. Then we should have one plane to be the cameraman.

they should include a telescoping camera for use with observation aircraft for the purpose of filming stunt shows, and formation flying, combat action shots and such. A view function like LO-MAC had would be nice where you could switch planes, pan your camera, zoom out, zoom in, have a fly-by camera function where the camera sits a certain distance in front of the plane and tracks it as it flys by. That really gives you a good sense of speed.

You should, if you haven't already, go play Over G Fighters till HAWX comes out. Go to challenge mode in single player, choose your options, and leave the enemy slot empty, and go fly to your hearts desire.

There is another way to free fly in a HUGE MAP too. There are alot of enemy planes flying around, but you don't have to worry about them, they usually only come after you if you get too close. I'll find myself flying around the arena mode for hours on end. Gotta refuel, and make it back to base with out running out, but you can spend alot of time on there just flying around. There's two airstrips, and one carrier on the map. The whole map is alot of ocean with islands scattered around the map. And the game lets you climb to really high altitudes. Nothing like climbing to 55,000ft and seeing the curvature of the earth, and looking up and seeing the stars in the day time because you so high up.

You should try it out, it's alot of fun. I hope HAWX has an arena mode like that were we can fly sorties with friends.
