Well, I know that as it is now Su-47 is obviously not an equal adversary fo F-22. (It would be logical to compare it to YF-22, since both are prototypes). The Su-35BM is more realictic opponent. (When it will be put to mass production that is). Su-47 would be actual opponent to Raptor if Sukhoi had a chance to finish working on it. Instead they were forced to start working on PAK-FA project (the result of which we'll probably see in august). What I meant above about Su-47 oriented to counter Hornets and JSFs, I meant that those planes were most perspective US carrier-borne fighters at the time Su-47 was in development (they still are). You see, russian idea of an aircraft carrier is a big air defence ship. The carrier-borne planes were needed to portect naval battle group from attack planes. Since US Navy doesn't use Raptors, it wasn't nessesary to push up fighters' capabilities, focusing more on making it more stable at low speeds, and more compact. That gave the idea of FSW, which provided both. The actual counterpart to Raptor (again, probably to YF-22) is MiG-1.44. MiG-1.44 is product of MFI program that started in USSR in responce to ATF program.

Thread just wasn't quite dead enough for you, was it? I pick the Raptor. It exists.

if your taking realisitcally thenit wiill be close because of airframe design raptor is more floaty, diving down straight from a climb is slower, you have to come edge on to get good rates , 47 with the forwardswept wings relys on thrust to amintain lift and can diveeasily by reducing that thrusts 47 is more agile in turns because of airframe but has a lowe thrust to weight ratio meaning rapto cancompensate for slightly less manouvorbility in tight confines,
result it would be down to pilot luck and th order of moves the pulled off
