Hello,
Last week the “Black Sea Defense & Aerospace 2008” has been held in Bucharest.Obviously, because of the nature of the event, many members of the H.A.W.X devteam were there as well. We got to speak with some military specialists, including an US pilot that also performed some awesome looking maneuvers with his F16. Regarding the planes, the most important presences were the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Saab Gripen and of course, the F16 Fighting Falcon. Below you can see some pictures from the event. Enjoy! Maximum security at the entrance Romanian helicopters ready to receive visitors The exhibition was split into more pavilions; one of them was, of course, the Romanian one Uniforms for the Romanian gendarmes and SIAS troops, the latest ones having some of the best elite shooters in all of Europe A shop specialized in pilot gear; I don’t think that helmet can activate ERS though An aircraft training bomb The banner below this F16 beats any comment I could give Saab Gripen, the only aircraft that allowed the public to go inside its cockpit An italian Eurofighter Typhoon was also present This UAV reminded me of the repair drone from HAWX An S-92 Superhawk helicopter, made by the Blackhawk Company The interior of the previously shown helicopter Some smaller UAV’s were placed inside the Romanian pavilion Small models of the US aircrafts were placed around this area An interesting simulator was present into the US pavilion After having some interesting conversation, some of the devteam members took some pictures with the US pilot; From left to right: Gabriel Florentin Visan, Mircea Siniuc From left to right: Luca Dal Croitoru, Bogdan Tufecciu, Dumitru Oprea From left to right: Adrian Avram(aka GKane), Dragos Inoan GK |
