Yeah, I'm an AC veteran, too. I never "practiced" at HAWX. It was just whatever I'd learned by playing that series.

I completely agree on the AA discussion. Again, you thought I just brag with my videos? Nope. People like M_C will claim that we only "whine" about their use because we lose to them. Not true. We still win. In fact, we win BECAUSE we don't rely on the auto-hit button and actually have to use tactics to win. People who claim we can't hang because of AAs are proved wrong by that video evidence.

In any case, it's a done deal. I might still put up a few videos I have on the HDD from a few months ago, but I'm too lazy to even bother with that much. heh We'll see.

I just wish we'd hear something about AC7, though.

Yeah, bring on AC7. Hawx is pretty much a lost cause at this point, though I will fire it up occasionally, just because there's nothing else for PS3, and unlike the great PS2 AC titles, at least you can play online.

Is there a way to put videos that are saved on your PS3 on youtube? Maybe from the PS3 web browser, as lame as that is?

I guess showing others your skill in videos is human nature. I don't think bragging is a bad thing ever, unless it is false. I will tell anyone that I am a damn good fighter pilot player, because it is the truth. You, everyone, are welcome to believe it or not. I'll let anyone challenge me too, for fun of course.

I guess you should not be ashamed of your skill at anything in life. Be honest with yourself, and if your actions make you feel uneasy, stop doing them. Enough preaching I think.

I can only hope that Hawx has at least shown Namco that the PS3 community is ready. I can't wait, here's hoping for a TGS09 AC7 unveiling!

Do you mean videos from HAWX or other stuff? And do you mean on your HDD but not in any game? You COULD use the web browser on the PS3 or transfer them via a flash drive onto your computer.

As for my pride in my skill, well, it only goes so far as playing the game or posting on this forum. It goes no further. I mean, this is just a video game. I'd rather take pride in something a bit more substantive, like writing music or literature or whatever. I wouldn't even go to another game forum and ever mention my supposed skill with HAWX. It's just not important. It's not like playing a video game gets me the girl heh.

Well, I did mean Hawx videos, but any videos really. I have a few good ones of me obliterating everyone for a while.

Ok, flash drive, that makes more sense. I'm sure I can borrow someone's that I know.

I have pride in everything I do, not just Hawx of course. But yeah, I do think I'm a badass pilot with some sick moves. My biggest pride however, in case anyone cares, is how I can handle people and myself in any social situation.

I understand all too well about being used to a controller. I use a PS2 controller on my PC for all my games actually. There's a USB adapter that you can buy for about $10, and last time I checked, HAWX doesn't conflict with porn or music, only itself.

In all seriousness, my set up for the Ps3 is better than my computer. My computer is badass actually 2.4 gig quadcore. But the monitor, while being a nice crisp lcd screen, it's only 20 inches.

My tv is a nice crisp 46 inch lcd, a lot nicer for gaming than 20 inches. I know there is a way to run my computer on my tv, but by then, why not just use the ps3? I don't have cable, my tv is solely for video games.

If you have a decent vid card it will output at 1080p to a tv. The reason why is that there are more games for PC and a PC can have better quality. The only good reason for consoles is for those that can't figure out a PC. Kind of like those that prefer a MAC, it's not that MAC is "better", it's just "easier" for those that can't figure out a PC.

(and a handful of exclusive games but I don't really consider that a good reason)

Mediocre by today's standards but it would probably do 1080p. You'd have to check the specs...

My tv goes to 1080p, but the PS3 only plays Hawx in 720.

I play HAWX at 1920x1200 which is basically 1080p but in 12x10 instead of 12x9...and it does look good.

I created a Youtube account and tried to upload my three videos to it from the PS3 web browser. However, it would only look for files to upload in the pictures folder, not the video one. So it appears I'll have to wait until I can borrow a friend's flash drive. Luckily my PS3 is day one and has the port.

Does the PS3 have a file system similar to Windows where as I could type in the file's location? Such as PS3:videos/hawx recording.mp4?

In one video, my kill to death score is 8-5. And the video is only less than four minutes long. I get 8 kills in under four minutes!

The second video in itself is not spectacular. The problem was I was going insane ripping the enemy team to pieces. The action was so fast that by the time I was half way to earning my 9 streak and realized that I should be recording, I didn't have time to turn it on. Finally, I do get it recording, so it shows my nine streak on screen, but then the rest of the video is good, but nothing spectacular.

The third video is almost eight minutes. My score in this one is 9-4. That's not counting the emp strike kill. I got *shot down* four times.

Hopefully you'll get/want to see them soon.
