"Sitting Ducks" is the hardest achievement to get
and I quit playing HAWX for a while....
just wondering if anyone want to group up someday and help each other out

I got sitting ducks on hardcore.

After you get the EMP strike, get shot down. Then fly up. That will put you far enough away to get the set up you need.

I fired them as soon as I was in range, then right before they were ready again, I activated the EMP strike. Then fired again.

You have to get two kills while the EMP strike is active, but they do not have to be from the same missile group. You can get two, maybe three, groups of 4 MTAAs out while the EMP strike is active.

Play a long round and start by letting yourself get shot down a few times, you may get a couple of tries. The EMP Strike is awarded more often to pilots on the losing team. So when you're ready to try to get the EMP strike, I'd suggest hunting the enemy ace, but not the match leader.

* Support Units do not have a time limit on activation, other than the end of the match. So hold onto your EMP strike until you're ready.

Hope that helps. It took me a while to get it, until I tried. I assume drone destroyer will be the same. If I get around to trying just to get it, shouldn't be that difficult.

It feels like I have to run to Kinkos now because this paper is due in 4 hours.

Thanks for the advise. I finally completed that challenge and all the trophies on Hawx yesterday evening.

That said, in order to complete the challenge you really have to just concentrate on trying to get the achievement with every round until you get it. I spent a lot of time looking for a 4v4 match with the right parameters, I tried hosting my own session on hardcore, but no one would join in. I tried joining other sessions and all 7 would quit or sometimes I'd be stuck with one player who I let chain kill me so he could level up, but he stopped shooting once he ran out of missiles after a chain kill of 6, so I had no choice but to shoot him down.

I had to do it on normal using TOP on a Grippen until I had EMP, then fly high, cycle through targets waiting for other players to get them down to about 50-60% life remaining, then implement Smoke's recommendation of fire, activate EMP just before MTAAs have reloaded, then fire again. Was sort of a pretty sight watching the enemy planes fall through the air from above followed by the earned two trophies message (completed Sitting Ducks and obtained all trophies)
