It seems like they are doing more and more of merging story lines, Ex. the NSA agents you work wit in Vegas 2, and the Ghosts in Endwar and now H.A.W.X (in the trailer at least)

Well, there have been "rumors" that the next GR game is somehow linked to EndWar. Who knows maybe we'll even witness Mitchell's promotion to General. Wink2

Maybe even the Massive Online Multiplayer announced could be a combination of Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter(s), H.A.W.X., and EndWar!!!!!!!
That's what I tried to point out here. That way everyone could play his favourite role in the game but contribute to a common goal and it would be a totally unique gameplay experience. Smile

Bucharest is working on HAWX
Shanghai ?
Montreal is currently working on SC:C but should be done soon.
Which studio is working on EndWar?
I know for GRAW 1 and 2 they had one studio do the SP and a different one do the MP so if somebody else has all this info we can see the possibilities much clearer.

A new Team in Shanghai, which mostly consist of VERY successful veterans from the realtime-strategy genre and the Tom Clancy brand (Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six) as well as some guys (as temporary support) from Ubisoft's Assassins Creed Team from Montreal. Smile

Montreal - Conviction
Shanghai - EndWar
Romania - HAWX
Paris - GRAW SP
Red Storm Entertainment - GRAW MP

So Red Storm can handle another GRAW MP and Paris hasn't revealed another game their making yet so it could be GRAW 3 but I gues nobody knows what they could be working on.

I realy hope this is not it for GRAW, but if it is I'm positive ubi has some other good action squad based games coming out. It would be cool if they did make a new game it would be cool if they did make it more in the future like what Amer.Mercenary said but not as far in the future as what he said.

There's rumors that the Redstorm studio that did the original ghost recon and island thunder have been working on the next Recon since GRAW 1 came out. That's why the Paris Ubisoft studio did the singleplayer, and this Redstorm studio focused on multiplayer on GRAW 1 and 2. Supposively the Redstorm who did the original recons will be doing singleplayer and multiplayer.

I hope this is true. Those frenchy french men over at that paris studio really screwed up the singleplayer experience in GRAW 1 and 2. The old school recons had it right, back in the day when we could do the whole singleplayer campaign online in coop with friends. Now it's that sorry hollywood arcade style shooter singleplayer disgrace.

You could even expand it much further:

Rainbow is called to get rid of some terrorists holding a group of people hostage, yet the situation looks as if something isn't right and Rainbow finds some evidence that a corrupt, retired military official could be the mind behind all that, so Ding calls the NSA and asks for assistance.

The NSA or rather Third Echelon sends in a Splinter Cell unit in order to confirm / obtain certain informations. It turns out they were right, there's something in the bushes - something big and it could mean war.

Meanwhile a situation in another area arises and the Ghosts are ordered to deploy at the site in order to do some recon. They're cooperating with H.A.W.X as air support but during a SITREP of the NSA, Command realizes that there's a connection between the situation Rainbow has to face and the Ghosts - from now on all Teams (Rainbow, The Ghosts and Third Echelon) must cooperate in order to prevent a dramatic event from taking place.

Wouldn't it be nice to do a ground support mission with a HAWX unit and then get a voice message from a friend of yours who's playing as a GR unit, thanking you for the valuable intel, you've send him but asking you to adjust the camera a bit to the left because he couldn't see that part of the map in the first photo? Big Grin

Or imagine yourself sneaking as a Splinter Cell unit behind enemy lines sabotaging Anti Aircraft guns and then receive a call from a friend of yours, thanking you for the deactivation of the last AA gun, only to hear that he's now closing in on the target? Big Grin

That would be the ultimate Tom Clancy experience! Smile

I've been praying for something like this for awhile now -- a sort of Battlefield MMO.

Just imagine the possibilities:

You're the last guy alive defending your base and a sniper has you pinned down behind a rock. You only have a vague idea where he is, as you saw his muzzle flash somewhere on a mountain in the distance. Meanwhile, you spot 3 enemies moving in on your flank, trying to get a better angle on you. You radio to your buddy up in the sky who's currently in the middle of a dogfight against an enemy jet. He says he'll be over as soon as he can and he tells you to try to stay alive as long as you can. You pop cover smoke to hide your getaway from the sniper, throw out some cover fire to keep the enemies' heads down, and move to a different position. Your buddy calls back with the good news: he won the dogfight and is about 20 seconds out. He needs a target, so you set the laser designator on the last place you saw the 3 baddies. You hear that sweet sound of a friendly jet, and you know by the time you've heard him, their fate is sealed. Your buddy drops a few thousand pounds of hotness all over them. Now you glance back up at the mountain only to see the sniper scrambling in hopes of dodging the next bombing run. You take him out, mission accomplished.

Now that's a game I'd easily pay $10 a month for. Cool

Yes BUT:

- without run 'n gun
- without bunny hoping
- with real ballistics
- with a storyline
- with destructible environment
- with an "integrated warfighter" experience
- with a STRONG focus on cooperation (unlike BF) and communication

(If your troops are not reporting a missile that's closing in and can't be seen on your radar - you're toast. If you don't support them with intel, they are toast. If your mission in the Splinter Cell phase hasn't been successful, you'll have less or even no intel to base your plan on. Each Unit has to work together hand in hand, in order to accomplish the missions.)

- with webcam support

(Wouldn't it be nice that as soon as you get a message on your Ghost's Crosscom, it's your friend who's providing you with intel instead of some pre-recorded / pre-composited message that's always the same but with a different WAV file? Or let's say you're currently talking so someone who suddenly get's attacked, the webcam video starts dizzeling, get's noisy and then breaks up because his unit has been destroyed.)

- phase based

(gather intel as Splinter Cell, investigate as Team Rainbow, sabotage as Ghosts, provide others with realtime intel like in EndWar and support your troops via air support like in HAWX. Smile

What I have in mind is not some kind of Battlefield Clone, rather a phase based game where you instantly feel at home, if you have played HAWX, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six or EndWar, because nothing (not even the HUD or the controls) is different compared to your previous experience except that all is focused on Multiplayer, as well as real-life Tactics instead of the typical "spray & pray" Multiplayer Games.

I guess I should have put emphasis on the "sort of" part. I was thinking more like Battlefield 2 for the PC, not the BF:MC/BF:BC for 360 (plus I play PR, where there is no bunny hopping, etc). And to be honest, I was thinking more in terms of the scale of the maps in BF2 than the gameplay. It'd all have to be tactical.

I definitely don't want a Battlefield clone either.
