Latest screenshot shows an F-22 carrying 25 AIM-9s while Rafale carries 20.
The arcade or sim debate is now over. Now I shall spam missiles all day long and DANCE AWAY WITH THE ANGELS! "Why not accept it kids? This is a console game, people button mash and people get fragged, that is all there is to it." "I never thought in a million years that Hawx will be as realistic as Ace Combat. Guess I will have to stick it up and mash the missile buttons. But I am actually feeling pretty good about it.... if only XxChungxX and Mr.Hanky would join me, that is the only other thing I could have wished for." |

Hey man, you can't polish a turd.
Anytime, Baby! |

honestly i was very happy when i heard that its gonna be more arcade-ish than a simulator. In my opinion its more enjoyable (well for me at least, anyway)

Spam Missiles...wuh? That seems rather ignorant of the performance of said missiles and the amount of targets in the combat area. But sure you go right ahead and make a fool of yourself. |

Can you post a link to that screenshot please? |

you're always quick to make assumptions. I just want to see what you are talking about.
Also the link you posted doesn't work. this is what comes up in a red box across the middle of the page "Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team." |

And as far as respawning missiles, and having an unrealistic number of missiles in your payload go, I actually wouldn't mind some kind of delay between the missiles reappearing on the wings. For instance, you fire off all missiles visible on your plane, and you have to wait say 30 seconds before a fresh batch appear on your wings. I think that's how the novice difficulty on OGF did it. Then the hardest was where you flew with what you could carry, fly back to base if you need more. Either way, I'd rather have the option to choose, than to be forced to have what the game wants me to have.

Maybe this will work better. Either ways, enjoy. |

If they forced respawning weapons, they could at least wait until you're not looking to put them back in. It's sort of jarring to see a AIM-54C pop up in your tunnel again after you fired it. |

At least that's better than the amount of missiles you can carry in AC6. Now that's only the sidewinders. An F22 can really only carry 2 internally, and I think two on the wings, maybe. So how many 120s can it carry. Real life I think it can carry 12, most of which are internal. So I'm guessing this game might let you have 60? Sounds like some unrealistic, easy, noob, fantasy arcade fun to me. It's amazing how Ubisoft buys the Tom Clancey name and runs it through the mud, spits on it, then has the cojones to make a flying game, in his name, with fantasy payloads for the aircrafts. Guess it can't be anymore different than a soldier in the Ghost Recon series carrying way more ammo than the on screen character actually has on it. Also the game has an Enhanced Reality System which really decreases the reality of the game by restricting alot of things. Like others have mentioned, it should be called Decreased Reality System. And, to make things more fantasy, the game so far, doesn't have a cockpit view, at least no one has confirmed it thus far. |

oh ok then, let me confirm there will be cockpits for every aircraft, tho not all jets will have different cockpits. (i read this in the romanian magazine article) |

Yeah, that alone is the biggest reason I don't like weapon respawns in a flying game. In AC6, I didn't like the fact that seconds after firing a missile, a new missile would respawn in it's place, and if you looked out your wing, you could actually see that new missile spawn. I too would much rather it respawn only when I'm not looking. 25 sidewinders for an F22 is really hard to believe. But I guess it's no different than the Ghost Recon series, having a ridiculous amount of ammo, and when the character reloads, he doesn't actually take the clip out.....magazine stays in weapon the whole time. Oh well, someday, all game will be perfect. And by that I mean they will have so many options, that those games will cater to everyone. You want lots and lots of ammo. you got it. you want realistic amounts of ammo, you got it. You want it to be hard to evade missiles like in real life, you got it. You don't want that, well then you can choose for it to be easier. These games need boku options that allow everyone to customize exactly what style they want. then there would never be a debate of sim/arcade. |

like there hasn't been about a hundred recently released arcade fighter games the console kiddies can chose from.
go play your damn over-g and ace combat. everyone must suffer because of your need for mindless games that require only a 60 iq and your(or your parents most likely) overabundance of money. |
