Right, according to you it's the "worst game ever" but what you think and reality are not the same. You're not very good at that "thinking" thing... This will be closed before long, but I do have a few cents' worth of input here.
There is nothing wrong with discussing our personal experiences with (and opinions of) the game. While I say "personal," it does not mean that the conversation itself becomes about the person, himself. We bring our perspective, but the discussion should remain about the game, not the person. I wish M_C could finally accept those terms. He is the only constant in all these arguments. He argues against people's opinions and refers to them as children. This isn't appropriate nor a mature method of debate, but rather counter-productive to any conversation. He needs to learn that one can posit opinions, but that in doing so, one isn't wrong for it. People can state they have a certain point of view with the game, but that's all it is. One can't say they're wrong. It's their opinion, and they're entitled to it. Yet, nearly every time someone poses criticism of the game, there we see M_C embroiled in a new argument. The others keep changing names (first it's with one guy, then there's a different one, then there's yet someone else), but M_C is always arguing. 500+ posts you can dig through, and the arguments keep happening. After a certain point, you have to wonder: if he keeps putting us "trolls" on ignore, then he must realize that we aren't just a couple people that think a certain way about the game. How many is it now that he's said he's ignored or threatened to? I mean, it's becoming routine to read that in a given "anti-HAWX" thread. One must also wonder how he must view these arguments, really. He isn't doing that good a job at "winning" these debates if he ends up having to ignore people and hasn't convinced ANYone that the game is good. Now, if we could manage a conversation where personal attacks weren't customary ammunition, then we could get somewhere, if even only an agreement to disagree. At least, that would be the sophisticated, gentlemanly thing to do. I've asked the mods to do something about M_C, not because I don't agree with him (I don't agree with a great many people), but because his manner contributes nothing but antagonism (to no productive effect) on this forum. It's like argument for argument's sake. Maybe it's not actually "like" but truly IS. I don't know. Still, M_C continues to post his rhetoric, and the mods have done nothing about it. The point is, it's exceptionally difficult to ignore these posts, as was advised. Why? Because, say someone such as Landon wanted to discuss an issue he has with HAWX, I (or someone else) could have a back and forth about it. Yet, it's not going to happen without M_C jumping in and there goes the discussion into an argument about "trolls," "ignored," "children," "exaggeration," "whining," and a liberal amount, no, an endless number of  emoticons in text.M_C will not allow people to disagree with him nor give people the validity of their own opinions. Landon tried to end it, but M_C presses on with more questioning and prodding. He will not settle for anything aside from some sort of conversion, which, of course, isn't going to happen. So, he goes on. And on. And on. And with new posters, there's a strong chance that that person will criticize. Inevitably, here comes M_C again with the same personal jabs, and the cycle repeats itself. How are we to ignore it? It's becoming ubiquitous. We can't have a discussion without his intrusion into it. My vote is for his removal. Arguments with M_C end the exact same way just about every time. We know the outcome, the phrasing, etc. Do any of you mods think he's contributing something beneficial to the forum? To other forumers? Mods, we have not stepped over any line any more than M_C has. No. Less, as we haven't incited any of it. We've had personal attacks against us, and yet, he's allowed to continue. He instigates arguments, and nothing's done about it aside from chastising US. We're happy to have normal conversations, so long as we get none of these M_C-impositions. I mean, I'm gone two months, and I find that M_C has continued being M_C unabated, unrestrained. Okay child, how many times do I have to tell you I clarified that instead of the worst game ever, it is one of the worst games I've ever played.
Children cannot get past one early slip, even if gladly corrected. How many times have I pointed out that you just attack my one corrected slip, but won't look inward at all. You ignored every one of my points. When arguing with a child, you just seem to make the same main point continually, because that's your point and they are too busy coming back with personal attacks to even pay attention to what's actually being discussed. Still still, you cannot see that your opinion of Hawx is so far from mine, and most here, that it is as much of an exaggeration as anything can be. I do agree with everything you said too adnihilis.
Though, I did try to end it and be civil with all this, it didn't last too long I guess. I do wonder if he really believes his posts or just likes to argue. Either way, I'm done with the bickering for tonight. MC, if you, we, are still allowed here. I plan on ignoring everything about the quality of the game and I won't let it get to this again. I was banned because of I questioned a mod's ability to moderate M_C. He continues this crap, and they allow him to do so. I mention it, and I get banned. As plain as I can make this out, you banned the wrong guy. Address the problem at the root. The root is M_C. Read his 500+ posts. Read any sampling of them. Whatever. All the evidence you need to get rid of the problem is found there. I have nothing else to say about this.
