Well, I'm done discussing it. I'm not going to ignore you or your posts, I'll read them. But if the quality of Hawx or our (yours and ours) exaggeration comes up again, I don't have any more points to make.

You haven't acknowledged that we feel you are exaggerating about how bad the game isn't, an equal amount as much as you feel we are exaggerating about how bad the game is, so I refuse to discuss it with you any longer.

The problem is, I've proven that it's not as bad as some (you and others) tried to claim and I've *never* exaggerated how bad or good it is. *I* have never made a "best game ever" post...

As I do not play HAWX, I can't say how well the game plays, but as a long time member of these forums, I will say that the title of this thread is right. Ubisoft's support does suck and with each game, it appears to be getting worse.

I look back to watching patching process of Raven Shield and have to think why does a company need to release six patches for a game. Each new patch broke something new. After the sixth, support for the game stopped. Now, for that particular part of the R6 franchise, the free Iron Wrath MP no longer has the CD key servers running and can no longer be played.

Ubi support is also famous for it's check out the forums response when one calls the Ubi support desk for help. Ubi relies on fans of it's games to help other users past their problems unlike other companies out there with better support.

Maybe one day Ubi will wisen up, but for now, their lack of support will help their bottom line suffer (last years profits were down 50.8% over the year before and can be found in their latest financial report just released earlier this week).

The number of patches doesn't mean a game is bad either, imo. Some of the most popular FPS games, like CS and TFC, had dozens of patches and still get patches.

That said, it does "suck" to have paid for a game that can't be played due to the key issue that you mentioned.

I think a lot of companies' profits have gone down in the last year, with the recession and all, but only time will tell. I'm not saying ubisoft has the best support but there are some people that make the same claims about every game company out there. No company can please everyone...

MC is Ubisoft's ideal customer.

It goes something like this at Ubisoft corporate:

"Hey guys lets release a half-*** half finished game!!! Millions of people will buy it, and they'll be perfectly okay with it because we've been releasing crappy products for years, so they're definitely used to it by now!"

"Great idea jim! Lets do it. And lets hire a platoon of programmer monkeys from Romania to create this master-piece!"

"Don't forget to out-source our forums to some random company and never check on them for customer input and feedback! We can't sway from our beliefs in crappy game development! Our word is our bond."
