I wonder if ubisoft will put in a custom paint scheme editor to customize your bird.
It would also be cool if they had alternate parts that you could add on to your jet so you could have complete control of the skies.

Seriously, why do point want this kind of **** in a game like this? This isn't GTA or NFS, you are a pilot in the Air Force, not some rogue guy.

You need to keep with the theme.

I dont see the problem with customizing weapons and planes. The Special Forces do it. And I bet this game ur unit is like a highly training spec ops unit

Heh, even in flight simulators (yes, the hardcore place, where the game *IS* the theme, not arcade stuff) people can and do change their paintjob.

It's not "pimping" "OMG! This is becoming NFS!!!111oneoneeleven!". Wink
I don't think we get to lower the landing gear height, place weird exhaust ports and stuff. That would be bad. :P

Custom paintjob though is perfectly fine. Smile

And keep in mind you aren't flying for the air force, you are flying for a PMC.

I'd like to see custom paint jobs. Maybe 4 areas: the wings, the rudder, top of the fuselage, bottom of the fuselage. Decals would be kind of cool too, but I think they would be hard to implement unless they used a generic set (stars, eagles, bombs, etc.)

Hell yeah, that would be badass. Gotta have a custom scheme for your squadron.

Ok I'll stick with the theme.

Why not be able to create our own schemes for our own squadrons(Clans).
This would be perfect for clan matches.

Decals can be directly put on the texture.. but why not the whole aircraft? Makes it simpler and that's how it's always done (save for a few) to keep the texture files low. Also maybe officially released PSDs? Would make life more simpler.

Quoted from IGN.COM......."Set in a near future, this flight combat action game inspired by the best-selling Tom Clancy videogame franchises imagines a world where a private military force has cumulated such power that it attacks the USA. Thrust into the cockpits of incredibly powerful and technologically advanced jet fighters, gamers will benefit from hi-tech piloting assistance, providing comfort, security and enhanced perception. As players gain skills and confidence, they will be able to shed the assistance. But before choosing performance over security, they’ll have to weigh the risks carefully."

Obviously you are flying for the U.S. Military and defending the U.S. against this P.M.C. that got too powerful. Or maybe you are a foreign air combat unit, like from France or England(why would a U.S. pilot be flying a Rafa whatever it's called?).

We are pilots of our own squdrons. We don't actually belong to any countries air force so we could paint our jets like we want to Clap
