Are they going to sell some joysticks for ps3 on this game??? Because it'll be much easier if there's going to be a joystick.....

I saw somewhere before the Ace Combat 6 flightstick will work with it. And HAWX might be having its own flightstick bundle.

I'm thinking of going for the Saitek X52 Non-Pro model, it's about $100.

I kinda just hope that this game plays like FreeSpace 2, easily the best flight/space-sim of all time. And especially because it was on a computer, I was able to program the buttons on a gamepad so it plays similarly to a console FPS. I used this sort of control scheme on the sticks, it's actually quite easy:

Left Stick - Throttle and Banking, Afterburners when pressed
Right Stick - Pitch and Yaw, Countermeasure when pressed

If HAWX goes with a similar control scheme, I'm sold, and so will a lot of FPS players, I imagine. Using the left thumbstick for Pitch never made sense to me, especially considering that the FPS market is much larger.

There are two flight sticks on the market,

1. One is just a stick - with a ps3 default config for Blazing angels
2. The other one is a flight Stick w/ seperate throttle control (HOTAS) has a PS3 default config for TC's HAWX, which I recently picked one up of all places ebay,

It looks and feels pretty good, it hooks together as one unit or seperates, I've yet to see how it works because I've lent out my copy Blazing Angels so I've to try it

I am using the brand new Saitek AV8R-03 with HAWX and it works great!!

I have the PS 3 version of HawX and I bought the Saitek AV8R-03 flight stick.

I have to keep switching to Mode 2 to navigate thru the game and once flying in a mission switch to Mode 1 to fly the plane.

Anybody else have this problem?

When using the flight stick for Blazing Angels 1 & 2, I can leave set to Mode 2 and no problems
