They named that flash movie "ubi_graw_onchnl.swf" if that's of any help to anyone.
In any case, it looks like a burning dossier of some sort to me.
Now that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has been released, any big announcements, specifically about another Ghost Recon, wouldn't interfere with that game. I'm sure it's nothing big but at least the possibility now exists.
MACSAT is a type of military communications satellite, and this is apparently named after recovering one of those. Possibly a highly confidential satellite has malfunctioned and has fallen back to earth in enemy territory? Sounds like a job for the Ghosts. If that's an upcoming game, it already sounds a hell of a lot better than trying to prevent a Mexican civil war.
My ultimate guess would be some sort of promotion for Endwar. It's been rumored the Ghosts will play some sort of role in that game, along with Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six, so that's what I'm betting on.

Obviousily it's for a new Ghost Recon game. It only appears on the Ghost Recon page and it has its own new forum. So im thinking a new Ghost Recon with a dropping of the AW title.
So we have a burning dossier and references to a military satellite. Looks a like a more low key believable scenario. Thank god. No more stupid mexican rebels or ridiculous storylines.
ahhh I get a warm and fuzzy feeling. Hope to learn more about this game fast. Would UBI consider building a proper tactical PC based shooter????? really???? I dunno. Sad but true I'm grown to be a Thomas, see first, then be happy. GRAW was a good game but support, extra maps, and well timed patches failed let alone the urge felt by UBI to please console kiddies more than the PC crowd.
I think I'm done with the AW bit. I like a new Ghost Recon that puts the emphasis back on the team and the player and not all the technology. I like the GRAW multiplayer, but not the single player. And I loved the previous Ghost Recons. The only problem is there is a thread in the GRAW forum that announces it the satellite wreckage, and not the other forums. Looks like Mexico 3.
At first I thought the smoking thing was a medical file, now after some thought. I could see it a being a peice of the fallen satellite. More importanly, something storing data. And the store could send the Ghosts on a recovery mission.
it has to do something wit graw, remeber the short ending where he got blew up at the end and they just end the game like that there has to b more if he survied or not.
