20 RGM and 70 FFB makes better sense. My find is for the PS3. Don't know if it is the same for the PC and XBox360 versions of HAWX. It would be nice if there were a way to mod the PS3 version of the game like you can on the PC. Bugs, defects, and all, the game is what it is ... an arcade game not a flight sim. One has to take advantage of whatever one finds in the game in order to win or accomplish an objective (sem-realistic or not). |

It's the same on PC and probably XBox360. Don't worry about using it, players have been using the F-15E with RGM and AAM, while AAM are suposed to be Multi-AG missiles.

anyone else ever notice that you can fire all four of your multi AGs, but only one multi AA per target at a time?

no i didnt notice that. in fact, i didnt know all 4 AG missiles launched at a single target. they seemed to behave the same to me, except for one is AA and one is AG...

Actually I'm not sure about 4 AG for the same target, but I do know you can fire all of them without reloading if there aren't targets, but only one AA at a time.

The bombers are what can make or break this mission in the early stages. Well, first comes a frantic dogfight. The bombers are going to come in low and follow the rivers. You need something nimble, yet it has to carry enough armament for the later stages of the level. I didn't use radar missiles though. Can't remember at the moment what I did use... tired, lol, but it had more to do with plenty of air to air, air to sea firepower. Max has the loadout, I got it off his site! I was level 24 at the time, so that limits your options.

Here's another bug: Just got to level 39 today and now I've got access to the Eurofighter 60 MTAA 20 FFB pack. This is probably another one of those UBI soft bugs as the MTAA JS pack only has 40 MTAA -- it probably should have been 20 MTAA and 60 FFB, but I'm not complaining |

There's plenty, just like the Su-47 has the same weapon pack twice, but one with more ammo...

Yeah I finally reached level 40 last night playing campaign co-op and jamming Red Eagle to continually respawn targets to shoot -- 30000 points in 2.5 hours using a Eurofighter with 60 MTAA in hard mode
Sort of anti-climactic finally getting there to get the Su-47 only to find it has the same RG-AA weapon pack twice JS 160 RG 24, AA 60 JS 160 MTAA 52 JS 160 RG 24, AA 36 Normal/Hard loadouts listed above I think one of the packs was suppposed to be RG MTAG looking at the symbols associated with the weapon pack. Sort of disappointing that the Su-47 loadout isn't any different from the Mig 29 loadout and the Su-35 loadout choices are a little better for TDM play since it has the option of a rocket pod. It would have been nicer if there was more to the Su-47 than just its forward swept wings which is already available on the X29. Oh well time to retire the game for me. |

EDIT: The FB-22 has miss match weapon icons too. See 'wheres waldo post.' |

Yes. Your MultiAA will reload all at once no matter how many are fired, but your MultiAG reload independantly. With MultiAG you can fire as many as 4 missiles at the same target back to back or as many as 1 for up to 4 targets. The MultiAG is far more flexible in targeting and delivery than the MultiAA the way it is in the game currently. I'd love to get the MultiAA to work like the MultiAG in those terms. I only recently found where the targeting & guidance files are located. |

I prefer the F-15C with JStrike,MultiAA and Radar loadout.

I like F-15E for this mission with bombs and AA. Bombs are good against ships and AA are good against helicopters(they need only one AA). F-15 is also very fast and it's possible to shoot most planes and helicopters without multiAA,just with JS and AA.
Also, Wingman helps a lot. When playing coop there is much more planes and helicopters, multiAA probably help and rockets against ship; I think Su-32FN has that weapon pack. |

Rockets are worthless against ships. Tried it last night for fun. I can sink the carrier faster with a series of RG from a distance before anyone else gets that 100 XP kill.
I like RG AA combos (Su-47, can't remember which others have it) for this mission as I can take out the bombers from a distance before anyone gets close to launch an MTAA or JS. When the F14Ds come in too close to use RG, I use double tapped AA and double tapped JS alternately in order to get fast kills; the only problem is the JS won't lock as fast as the AA (or MTAA). Su-32Fn and Su-34 both have RG and FFB packs with 70 RG and far less FFB. You can complete the mission with just RG and JS and not worry about the bombs. |

On the PC version of HAWx, when you fly below cloud level on Typhoon, you get rain coming down on the canopy
On the PS3 version, there is no rain on the canopy, but the graphics are cleaner and frame rate faster than on my PC Quad Core q6600 with nVidia GT9500 |
