I really hope that H.A.W.X becomes one of the greatest sims. XxCH0NGxX's poll shows how much appetite there is for another sim after so many years of lame ones.

In particular I hope that H.A.W.X can become the new EF2000 or more recently FALCON 4.0. Those games were ground breaking and nothing has come close since. Let's hope those aircraft are included (though the F-16 isn't exactly modern) just as a salute to the great work done before.

Everyone in the community held their breath for lo-mac when it was first announced but sadly didn't live up to the hype.

We all look forward with baited breath at what you guys at Ubi can conjure up with H.A.W.X. (Personally I'm a fan of SH, so I know you can do it!)

most people here want it to be a sim, not another Ace Combat. Besides that, We need another good modern combat flight sim besides falcon and LO-MAC and no one has any idea when fighter ops or DCS is going to come out anyways... i love silent hunter and I love all realistic flight sims. Can't stand AC.

what I really want is for someone to make an accurate flight sim out of the F-15E since it is retired now and 90% of its systems are now unclassified. I love the plane to death and am really sorry to see it go. It is a dream to fly and besides, I don't qualify for the F-35 or F-22A yet.

I am sorry hawk, I misstated that comment, The F-15 is now out of production as in current models are no longer being made anymore. I fly the plane, and damned if I be if I ever call the thing out before its task is done. perhaps retired was not such a good word to use? I just couldn't think of the right words at the time. plus AC6 does suck... I do not support or condone the existance of such arcadish games...

thts gud to know it wont be a simulator...i want it to be a fun game as well....cus simulator are totally unplayable when it comes to a newcomer who just wants to have fun. i dont want that difficult flying skills needed for the game like the other simulators around which makes everything boring......m happy now!!!!!!

Why? Your fear of such games is unfounded and to be quite honest, stupid. All 3 archtypes of Flight Games have something to offer, if you can't see that, then you never played Afterburner .

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it sucks, by the way... Not to mention, it's a GAME. 99.9999% of them ARE arcadish, even if they are trying to be realistic.

I find AC refreshing in the way it's not restricted by being set on our planet that allows it to explore it's own universe and show us new and interesting events. Instead with HAWX (What is this, the new 90s?) we get stuck with over powered PMCs trying to seize control of the world. *Yawn*
