I do have the answer but not the one you made up (like a lot of people make things up around here), it's because every game forum only represents a tiny fraction of the players.

Which also backs up my point that it's neither dead nor as bad as *some* people try to claim.

Sure, I've made that up...

It's SOOOO broken that we have dozens or hundreds of hours playing it. Yet another example of dishonest exaggeration. Bugs, yes. Broken, no.

I'd say nice try but it wasn't...

I know 10 of them.

Aren't you cool. Saying you know 10 people that do the same thing doesn't not an argument. Especially when it's the number 10, a mentally satisfying number. I have to think there is some exaggeration. Either way, I'm seeing plenty of people, even in Ubi.com.

Again, exaggeration is not the best way to go about making an argument. Especially, when so much of it functions and the only headaches to be had are the absolute unreliability of UBi.com, an issue that probably transcends HAWX all together.

Can we change the title of this thread to... "Alright customers, time to let us know what's going on.."? Ubi hasn't said anything to us. Except to me, with passive aggressive attacks on my 500x150 forum sig. Angry Blue Guy

When this happens in other games, developers usually release some info on upcoming DLC, in turn the excitement usually injects life back into the player base.
When Endwar was done updating the game, they let us know.
So all I am asking is, is there any future DLC or updates planned? Or is HAWX done?
Enough of the HAWX crusaders and naysayers! True Ubisoft representatives could reply to us if they wanted to. "In due time" or "They don't have to." is just lame IMO. In the mean time, I am interested to see how Ubisofts' competition treats their customers. DCS: Black Shark and the rest of the upcoming DCS series looks very promising right now. Flight sim. vs. arcade game aside, I suggest you google it.

Nor should you expect them to say anything. There's been very few updates from the company despite the requests and even some impotent demands...

I don't like google so I yahoo'd it instead:

1) DCS - Black Shark "Quick" Startup
~120 mouse clicks (if I didn't lose count) before take-off. No thanks...

2) It's Russian, I don't speak/read Russian. Even if it has subtitles, I'm not interested and I doubt that even full language localization would make me want to buy/play it.

HAWX has me more interested in flight games now and after I get a flight stick I might even re-install FSX and give that a shot again but I have zero interest in DCS: BS...

It has an arcade game mode also.

Sadly, I know you're right.

I don't know.... did he develop it? It still doesn't change the harassment, but I digress.

The Forum Moderators are not devs, and aren't Ubisoft employees.

If you have any complaints about moderating decisions on these boards, feel free to voice your complaints in a PM to a Forum Manager, the forum isn't the place to discuss matters of that kind.

Regarding what you perceive as "attacks" against you, forum rules being enforced are not attacks, please don't think you're important enough to warrant personal attention, if you had bothered to read them in the first place, you would have no need to edit your sig in the first place. Indifferent

What surprises me is the surprise y'all have at the lack of communication and support from Ubi. I have known about it for years and it gets worse with each passing day.

Agree
Been here a long time too and watched the steady decline in quality of games and quality of service.
Things just haven't been the same since OGR and I believe RvS was the "turning point" it's all been downhill from there.
For the record I probably have an account dating back many years before the one I am using now(but like not breaking the rules with "multiple accounts") so I just use this one.

I miss the days of the old Red Storm Entertainment.

This new Ubisoft is like a chinese carebear factory that puts lead into their products, and then wont accept responsibility.

Oh, but they sure are on top of enforcing random forum rules.
