As we know this forum is slowly dying, as the games numbers have probably shrink as well. When this happens in other games, developers usually release some info on upcoming DLC, in turn the excitement usually injects life back into the player base. When Endwar was done updating the game, they let us know. So all I am asking is, is there any future DLC or updates planned? Or is HAWX done?
It's not "officially" anything just because you claim it is...

If a game has potential to be better than the released version, and despite its flaws is a solid build, what sometimes happens is that a few dedicated fans keep it alive by delving into the original source code and modifying it into a better game. This happened with Rowan's BATTLE OF BRITAIN, with Microprose's FALCON series, and with DID's F-22 TACTICAL AIR WAR. Admittedly the original companies usually went bust first, so working on the code could be done legally. Now you might have to wait a while, but if UBI dumps HAWX and it languishes a bit, some dedicated techno-savvy fans might just resurrect it and open up the mission editor, adjust the flight models for more realism, include take-offs and landings etc. After all it's the best-looking Flight game out there, and it would be a shame not to be able to use that gorgeous scenery for lots more missions.
As I've pointed out before, more than a million copies sold and only a few whiners on the forums...while it's not perfect (no game is), it's not as bad as *SOME* try to make people think it is...
