Geeze, Ubi, why don't you guys make this game completely lame? You're most of the way there already. At least in AC6 you could takeoff and land on the missions. Or in Over-G, you could takeoff and land on strategic missions or in free flight and arena modes.
I need to hear more about this free flight mode and what the options for it are exactly. Are we going to be able to set up a scenario, or just fly around a boring map, being bored to death? I mean, in free flight, can I pick my jet, pick 1 or more bad guys, and fight them? If there are airfields on the map, can we use them?
Are we going to be able to takeoff and land in multiplayer?

WTF, guys.
GKane stated that there will be no skirmish and that the free-flight mode is just for flying and will also be available for MP. I'm glad that its in at least. Sometimes I just like to fly around alone in any jet without any interference. There is no proof of takeoff and landing though for free-flight.
