Ok a new stunt as suggested by my girlfriend - I'm calling it the "Kulbit Return" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIkLVsbT33A
Basically you do half a Kulbit and then return on the bearing you came from... looks simple but give it a go at low altitude and you soon realise that once upside down you quickly lose altitude which you have to compensate for by pulling the nose up (which as your upside down you need to push down on the nose, not forward) and then because you can only do this in "normal" your plane will need to be flipped over and you'll quickly find yourself having to compensate again to make sure you now don't gain altitude! Seriously this was harder than stall sliding the eurofighter under the bridge! |

Nice thread, Kada. One point I felt like making though. Isn't your "Return Kulbit" more accurately an Immelmann Turn? I believe that's the name of the maneuver.

I see where your coming from... but the Immelmann is a half loop wheras the Kulbit is generally either a tight loop or a "flip"... and if i'd carried on pulling back I would have done a full Kulbit so thats why I went for "half Kulbit" |
