hmm, i can't seem to get the exporter to work. When i try to make a .dat file into an OBJ, it saves a file but when i try to import the obj to maya/cinema4d i get either an error message. or just a bunch of triangles/quads completely mangled in the center.

Well.. Doesn't look like much in the exporter. there are two buttons (open and save as) and a small tick box. if i tick it i get crappy geometry (collapsed polygons), and if i don't tick it no program can even open the obj file. then to the left are the different geometry sets, and i tried exporting all of them. but i only get errors/collapsed geometry. |
