I thought the F18 was a single cockpit? Is this another version?

Anyway I'd like to play you with an F14D once the game comes out. Smile

This is an "F" which is the two seater. The "E" is the single seat version.

Ok thanks. What would you prefer F or E?

2 seater jets are there for the sole purpose of letting the WSO take care of the systems thereby allowing the pilot to pilot rather than manage the various systems of the planes.

Same here. hahaha never liked em though I know they're efficient in real life it just doesn't seem right controlling a plane when you know there's another one behind you. (In the game)

netflame how do you know all this stuff?
Good job bro!

Fighterman 35,

Please for the love of all things decent - don't ever "Anytime, Baby!" a frickin' Rhino again.

That phrase is reserved for one kind of aircraft only - a combat veteran of over 30 years that will always be at least 10 times cooler than any Hornet was, is, or ever could be.

Tomcats Forever, Baby!

Anytime, Baby!

I don't like twin-seaters because I don't want to share my fighter with someone. I don't want somebody sitting behind me, and aiming while I'm piloting. My fighter is my body. I'm it's master. I'm a single organism with a plane! bow

If I'm not mistaken, the pilot is always the gunner in fighters. Usually, the RIO who sits in the back seat operates radar and such. The pilot is the one who actually fires weapons. Wink
