ive known about sturmovik... since... 9ish? years? its an old game

but I only like very specific flying games... blazing angels.. crimson skies... hawx.. see a ubi trend there?

I despise full on realism, takes away from the killing, I despise full on arcade, takes away from the "immersion" factor

balance... balance.

I'd murder for another Crimson Skies.

id murder for a new CRIMSON SKIES 1

2 was so weak, all the planes had set weapons

1 had full customization <3 <3 <3

A remake with some Normal mapping, volumetric smoke and lighting.. man that'd be awesome.

JobDun this game was actually designed for PC lol! Of course it is. And to that guy saying no missiles ....well there are incredible machine gun and cannon combinations ..

it's world war 2, of course there is no radar but the game still owns hawx...there is another game called heroes over europe and that comes out sometime this spring and that s about wwii too but it has rockets and torpedoes and better graphics and gameplay than hawx... hawx is a big disappointment.

I think the WWII aspect of fighter planes is the "GOLDEN AGE". I mean a modern air combat sim would be boring. Fly an hour to enemy airspace, shoot a 100 mile missile, leave. BORING!!

I honestly CANNOT WAIT for IL-2 STURMOVIK: Birds of Prey. Their website and website forum are supposed to be up and running so i will be their from start to finish. I CANT WAIT!

BTW: I was reading about IL-2 STURMOVIK: Birds of Prey, and their are two thing, a sim mode, which restricts you too cockpit, VERY realistic flight characteristics, real damage and no stupid loisy gun sights like in Blazing Angels.
Their is also supposed to be a arcade, which is the close to what is not above.

I also want it because you can fly BOMBERS!! in over 50 missions of WWII!!! Cant WAIT.

Or, you could play falcon allied force. That's a pretty damn realistic game, it even has a built in war sim.
