Everything is improved over the first one, my friend and I picked it up yesterday, played through the first couple of levels or so, the combo system they have implemented is very well done, we couldnt believe how deep it was for just being a melee fighter, not to mention actually being surprised by how good it looks, for some reason I wasnt expecting anything to impressive but wow, you people need to get this game.

And yes, they did steal it. Like many others, mine "disappeared" from their system soon after it was received for repair. However, since I customized mine before it left by etching it, they told me it wouldn't be replaced without my consent (actually, initially, they told me it wouldn't be replaced, regardless). Needless to say I don't like them right now...

Renting, but Im going to play the first game first. I hate horror games but this doesnt seem as bad as RE4.

(I dont mean "bad" as in a horrible game, the scariness I am talking about)

I played the demo of it, scary, but I think I could handle it.

Dude, Resident Evil 4 isn't even close to being as creepy as Condemned. Anyway, I might get Condemned 2 eventually, I still have a couple of levels to beat in the first game.

Maybe, but in condemned you dont get surrounded by like 15 enemies. Do you remember RE5 trailer when he was in a small dark shack surrounded by all those zombies. Thats just one of the moments.

I hate being overwhelmed with zombies.

I didn't think the first one was going to be that scary, but I couldn't play for longer than 20 minutes at a time by myself.

I LOVE this second one. You best believe I'm going for 1000/1000.

I still think Silent Hill 2 is the scariest game I've ever played. The atmosphere just can't be beat.

So far I like Bloodshot, but it's kind of complicated (for me), with the combos and such... The first one was nice and simple.

Okay, so it is actually more scary than I thought it would be.

Spoilers:

The lodge, with the bear?! FREAKY!!! When the guy gets attacked and you can see him through the wall, crawling away...that got me. Then, of course, being chased...wow. Unfortunately I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing at the last part (with pushing that thing to block the hall), so I died a bunch of times and got frustrated (thus losing the immersion), but still, that section is awesome.

is Condemned 2 more scary then the first one? i completed original condemned few days ago, very scary....cant wait for Condemned 2 (out in uk 4th April) hopefully it will be more scary

I haven't finished it yet, but I would say that, in general, it's about as scary as the first. There is the one section, though, that is downright insane...

IMHO the only good part of this game was when it ended. LOVED THE FIRST BUT HATED THIS ONE

For me, the big one is the weapons breaking. It's like, sorry, but I don't care how many heads I bash in with the crowbar. It's not going to disintegrate.

The antler, sure. I'll even give you the toilet seat. But honkin' metal objects like pieces pipe, or wrenches? No.
When I find a decent weapon, let me use the thing.

I hated that about Dead Rising too...

Yup the weapons thing and the fact you are smashing someone with a pipe and all of a sudden you are in a fist fight with them, than back to the pipe. Not right, just not right. No replay value for me, done once now on to other things.

Best thing was finding out what was with Thomas and the end.

finally got condemned 2 today, great game but it just feels like devs concentrated more on melee system then the scariness lol

I will probably trade RSV2 for it. Couldn't really get into Vegas so i think i will enjoy being scared to death instead.
