I take it you don't have access to a gym? No waits at home? If not, then do the following to get toned up: Lunges, squats, pushs, situps, and dips. For dips, go into the kitchen and at one of the corners of the counters, place your hands on the angle of the counter and perform a dip. If you don't know how to perform them, just google it. You'll get the idea. Works your triceps and chest. Other than that, try finding a tractor tire and flip that bitch a hundred yards. I gurantee you your entire body will be sore the next day. :O |

No, you can't bruise any proper trumpet player's abdomen, the muscles are too strong, they'll absorb the shock. Now I'm not a proper trumpet player but I'm getting damn close and I've had loads of people punch my abs and I feel a bit of shock for about 5 seconds and then itching. I was headbanging to some killer music 3 weeks ago (I was about to get a haircut so I had to have some fun) and I lost my balance after about 10 minutes and fell on the stereo system and then right on my back. So right above my tailbone I had a bruise the size of a fist that kept me from doing much. It was totally worth it though. +1 Magicka Department of Redundancy Department. Save a carrot, eat a cow. |

First thing if you are out of shape don't go thinking you can go right outside and start running miles and not get hurt. The key is to slowly progress into it.
If you have a gym. I would start out by using the treadmill and seeing how long you can walk at a brisk pace at least for 30 minutes. get your speed up and over 3 mph.
